Wednesday Night Classes: Round 4 (Last One for 2020!)
This fall, we launched a series of Wednesday night classes at our church building, and the final block of classes for the year begins November 11. Both classes during this session will meet for two weeks (November 11 & 18) and then we’ll take a break the week of Thanksgiving. The Wednesday after Thanksgiving, December 2, we’ll get together one more time to eat snacks and sing a few Christmas carols. There won’t be any classes that night - just some time to enjoy one another’s company, share some good food, and head into the holiday season with our hearts full.
Class Descriptions
“Spiritual Gifts” with Tim Chambers (Part 2)
During the second half of this seminar, Tim will continue to lead students through a verse-by-verse study of the primary New Testament passages that talk about spiritual gifts. Participants will have opportunities to ask questions, discuss the application of these texts, and perhaps experience some of the Spirit’s gifts in a workshop setting.
“BLESS” with Jaron Scott
God told Abraham that his family, the Church, would end up being a blessing to all people. This class is designed to help us build the kind of friendships in which we are a blessing to others, especially to those who haven't yet come to know Jesus. The first session will focus on what it means to be a blessing to the world around us, and during week two, we’ll explore a few practical ways we can be a blessing to the people in our spheres. This class will correspond with a Sunday teaching series that will also be happening over the same time period.
Registration Form
We’re asking each teen or adult who plans to attend one of these classes to register using the form here. This will help us prepare classroom spaces in advance, and it will ensure that we have adequate childcare available. (Parents, when you register, only one of you needs to add the kids to your registration form.)
